No Passport, No Problem: Destinations That Don’t Require A Passport for US Citizens

Don’t have a passport, no problem!

Whether its fear, finances, or a less than perfect record, don’t let not having a passport keep you from all the awesomeness this world has to offer. There are plenty of great destinations that do not require US citizens to hold a passport, while still providing new and exotic experiences, from different food, music, wildlife, and scenery. How about trading in Florida for Puerto Rico? Or Hawaii for one of the Virgin Islands? Many budget airlines such as Southwest and Jet Blue offer affordable or even free tickets with their credit card sign up bonuses.

Below are a list of destinations that do not require a passport for US Citizens.

American Samoa, Baker Island, Howland Island, Guam, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands , Navassa Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Palmyra Atoll, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands (St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas), and Wake Island.
